What is it?
It is an application created by an IT company (Centric) for the Ethnographic Museum of Moldavia within ”Moldova” National Museum Complex in Iași, Romania in order to understand the functioning of peasant installation exhibited in the museum space.
Why is it important? / How can it help the professionals of the cultural sector?
The application has been designed by Centric, as technological partner, funded with the help of BCR (Romanian Commercial Bank), and implemented with the support of the Association Toti Pentru Unu (All for One), an NGO very much focused on education and culture working together for the benefit of the community. It is important particularly because it shows that public and private sectors can find ways to cooperate for the general wellbeing of the community.
