Solidarity and Hope Foundation (Fundația Solidaritate și Speranță)

What is it?

It is an NGO that provides the needed help to people facing difficult situations, be them medical or social. Through its various centres, it works with various age groups: children, youth, adults and seniors, and adapts to the specific needs thereof.

Why is it important? / How can it help the professionals of the cultural sector?

For the cultural sector, the collaboration with such NGOs is very useful as it facilitates the connection with disadvantaged target groups whose members would not otherwise benefit from the cultural offer.

For museums, it is much easier to reach such challenged people through such foundations whose role is to really focus on the everyday needs of these persons, to make sure these needs are real and not fake.
