ACCESSIBILITY WITHOUT LIMITS guide
What is it?
The museum workers putting their empirical experiences with accessibility in the shape of a guide, so that everybody can learn from their experience; a guide for the museum workers on how to better work with and approach people with disabilities.
Why is it important? / How can it help the professionals of the cultural sector?
It can give hints on how to collaborate with people with disabilities so that no one feels forgotten, disrespected. This guide gives the practical examples of how to best work with visitors with disabilities, but, what’s important, also shows the cases where not everything went as planned. Examples of unsuccessful initiatives are also important, because they can show us what not to do in the future, what to avoid.
