izi.TRAVEL

What is it?

It is a free tool that allows to create an audio guide with minimal technical skills.

Why is it important? / How can it help the professionals of the cultural sector?

Today, izi.TRAVEL has grown to world’s no.1 storytelling platform with the support of 25000+ audio guide publishers and 5 million downloads. It is also widely used in the cultural sector, and as it is a free tool, everyone can use it. It is important because it gives everyone the possibility to create their own audio guide to go with an exhibition in the museum, an art experience, a trip to a city. It is up to the user to provide all the content, therefore the audio guide produced are very customised. This lets everyone find something for themselves on the izi.travel website or mobile app. It can be an easy way for the cultural professionals to provide the audio content for their exhibition, or to organise an activity for, for example, younger visitors (where they would have to create their own audioguide, for example).
